Berach مراسلہ: 2 دسمبر 2009 Report Share مراسلہ: 2 دسمبر 2009 Why is this Tafsir included in the list of Tafasir in the uk dawat e islami diary? The author Zamakhshari was a mutazilite, though renowned for his prowess in the Arabic Language, it contains ghayr saheeh points of aqeedah, however brilliant his treatment of various linguistic aspects of the quran al kareem may be. I feel this should be brought to the attention of those people in the uk/elsewhere who print these diaries, so they can at least mark it with a note of warning, or remove it from the list completely. اقتباس
Ghulam e Azhari مراسلہ: 2 دسمبر 2009 Report Share مراسلہ: 2 دسمبر 2009 He was Motazili but this Tafseer is used not to explain a belief but for the meaning of Arabic words. Ulama have used this Tafseer as it is good in word-meaning purpose. But your point is valid that it should be mentioned that this Tafseer is used just to support a word's/phrase's meaning/explanation, but not to prove beliefs. But it would be even better to let a writer write a separate short articles about this, explaining details how was he Motazili and why his Tafseer is used in word-meaning purposes by scholars. Thanks. اقتباس
