Hazrat Ali ( Karamullah Wajho ) Farmatay hain kay Allah Ta`ala kay nazdeek sab say zaida gunah gaar cheez jhoot bolnay wali zuban hai .( Nuzhat-ul-Majalis,page 510)

[Gham-e-Madinah]

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reports that the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said often in his Khutba (sermon): "O people! Lighten and cleanse your bodies by way of fasting during Shabaan, so that it shall be easy and helpful to you for the fast during Ramadaan. Whoso fasts for three days during Shabaan, all his past sins are wiped off".

Aswad ibne-Asram Radiyallahu anhu narrates

 

That he requested: O Rasulallah! (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) Advise me.

 

He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: Control your hands.

 

I said: If my hands are not in my control, then what else can be in my control?

 

Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam said: Control your tongue.

 

I said: If my tongue is not in my control, then what else can be in my control?

 

He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) then said: Do not use your hands except for good works,

 

And do not say from your tongue except what is good. ( Tabrani, Majma-uz-Zawaid )

that Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam said:

 

No two hungry wolves let loose amongst sheep

 

Will cause more loss than a man,s greed

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful and, Peace and Blessings of Almighty Allah be upon the Chosen Prophet.

 

The Prophet (salAllaho alaihe waahlayhi wasallam) said:

 

The love of this world is the root of all evil.

 

This world is a prison for the faithful, but a Paradise for the unbelievers.

The world is a magician greater than Harut and Marut, and you should avoid it.

 

The world is sweet in the heart, and green to the eye; and verily God hath brought you, after those that went before you; then look at your actions, and abstain from the world and its wickedness.

 

The world is as a prison and famine to Muslims; and when they leave it, you may say they leave famine and a prison.

 

Be in the world like a traveller, or like a passer on, and reckon yourself as of the dead.

[Gham-e-Madinah]

It is reported in Bukhari and Muslim that Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam said, "The reward for each deed done by the children of Adam is multiplied, and the reward given is between 10 and 700 times greater. Allah Ta'ala says, "Except for fasting. Because a person that fasts is giving up his desires and giving up food for Me. There are two joys for the person that fasts. The first is when he breaks his fast in the evening and the second is when he shall meet his Lord." The smell of the breath of one who is fasting is more liked by Allah Ta'ala than Musk (fragrance) and fasting is a restriction. When one of you is fasting, do not partake in idle chat and do not cause disturbance. If someone swears at you, tell that person that you are fasting."
