Need Some Information regarding idat.

Salam,

A cousin of mine had khula from her husband like two and a half years now a few days back he got murdered and she went their on his funeral.There were a lot of people there who were asking her to observe idat because they didn't get the papers because of the fact there address was changed and in mean time her husband was in jail.So she is still his wife and it is necassery for her to observe idat as she is his widow now.But in my knowledge as she got separated or had divorce from him she had no relations with no sharae or no legally so she don't have to observe idat for him.So i want any body who can clarify me or my aunt?

Agar to arhayi (2and half) saal pehlay khawand nay beewi ko talaq day di thi tab to ab khawand k inteqal par bewi par idat lazim naheen hay.

 

laikin agar to judge say khud hi separation krwa di thi aor khawand nay talaq na di thi to aesi soorat main talaq hi na hui aor ab khawand ki mot par bewi par edat lazim hogi.
