Jealousy (hasad) is one of the most jeopardous and hurtful sins of human character (nature). In our society there will be found only very few out of millions not suffering from this disease of soul. Otherwise most of the people, due to the lack of knowledge of religion, deprived of virtuous accomplices and being fearless of the judgement day has put their religious faith to risk.

The first sin on earth:

Jealousy was dangerous sin, which caused the first assassination on earth. The summary of that incident is as follows:

"Eve or Hazrat Hawwah (May Allah (God) be please with her) gave birth to twins in every pregnancy, one of which used to be male child while other female one. When these children grew up their marriage was arranged in the manner that the boy of first pregnancy married to the girl of second pregnancy while the boy of second pregnancy married to the girl of first pregnancy. In one pregnancy Kabeel (male child) and Akleema (female child) and from another pregnancy Habeel (male child) and Leoza (female child) were born. According to the principle Kabeel was to marry Leoza and Habeel to Akleema. But Akleema was very beautiful and for that Kabeel wanted to marry her. Adam the father of children and prophet of Allah (God) (Allah

zamen ki tarha aasman ka bhi 1st sin hasad hai. jab hazrat adam (as) ko takhleq kya gaya tu iblees ne hasad kya ke main aag se paida kya gaya or aag bulandi ki taraf jati hai jab ke hazrat adam (as) mati se banaye gaye hain jab ke mati opar se nechay ki taraf ati hai. lehaza main afzal hon. shaitan ko apna yahi hasad le doba or woh randah e dargah ho gaya.

Allah (jallah) humain is mohlik taren batni marz se mahfoz rakhe. ameen

maha Allah nice brother

ok now iam telling u the defination ..

and please do rember the defination

Definition of Jealousy:

Jealousy is that "you desire that fortune bestowed upon someone is lost from him and you attain it." In other words, if you see that a person is blessed with the favors of Allah (God) and you wish that he is deprive of it and you are given the possession of it, then this is jealousy. Thus we find that two characteristics of jealousy are:

To wish deprival of a favor from a person

To wish to acquire that favor

Examples:

When you see a fame and honor of a person you (due to hatred) wish that the person is disgraced and humiliated in the people somehow and the position of fame and respect he holds is attained by you, then it is jealousy.

When you see a wealthy person you desire that a thief steals his wealth, he is deprived of even a single penny and in contrast you get the hold of same or more wealth and the related benefits, then it is jealousy

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH

It is narrated that when Hazrat Musa Kalim Ullah alaihis salaam climbed Mount Toor to communicate with Allah Ta'ala, he saw a person in the shade of the heavens. He was envious of the status of this person and asked Allah Ta'ala, "Can I know the name of this person?" A reply came, "Let Me tell you about his actions, he was never jealous of anyone, he never disobeyed his parents, and he did not back-bite or tell tales." (Ahya Ul Uloom, Vol 3)

Hazrat Musa alaihis salaam, a great Prophet of Allah Ta'ala was envious of this person and his status. Allah O Akbar! May we be sacrificed on the fortune of this person that he was in the shade of the heavens. May Allah Ta'ala grant us the same habits that he had, and save us from jealousy, make us obedient to our parents and save us from back-biting. Aameen

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH

Imam Muhammad Ghazali alaihir rehmah says that, "Jealousy is one of the biggest diseases of the heart, and the cure is that a jealous person should realise with a cool head that his jealousy will never destroy the blessings of anyone. There will be no loss to the person that I am jealous about, but my jealousy will ruin my world and my hereafter. I will burn with jealousy inside me and my good deeds will be ruined. My good deeds will go to the person who I am jealous about on the day of judgement. Also he should think that those blessings were given to the person by Allah Ta'ala. By being jealous and burning inside I am showing displeasure at the will of Allah Ta'ala and ruining my faith and my belief. He should think about these things and realise that Allah Ta'ala is The Wise One. He gives to each what they deserve. The person I am jealous about obviously deserves those things in the sight of Allah Ta'ala and that is why he got those things. In this way the disease of jealousy will leave the heart and the jealous person will be saved from the fire of jealousy." (Ahya Ul Uloom, Vol 3)

May Allah Ta'ala guide us all to act upon the words of Imam Ghazali alaihir rahmah. Aameen
