Mohamed Memon مراسلہ: 27 اپریل 2018 Report Share مراسلہ: 27 اپریل 2018 (ترمیم شدہ) Salam brothers i am new to this forum and i need refutation to this ojection Raised by salafi brother on Bahjat-ul-Israr wa Maadan-ul-Anwar he is saying this book has been cirtized by scholars [21:29, 4/27/2018] +91 73108 57041: Hafiz Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (d. 795H / may Allah have mercy on him) writes, “It [the book Bahjat al-Asrar] deals with the life-events and merits (manaqib) of Shaykh ‘Abd al-Qadir Jaylani in three volumes. He has filled it with everything, big and small. It is sufficient for one to be called a liar when he narrates everything he hears. I have seen a portion of this book and my heart does not feel secure in accepting or relying on anything in it, or relating anything from it, except that which is famous and well-known from other books, because of an excess of narrating from unknown individuals, deviations, major errors, [unfounded] claims, and false speech, such that it cannot be considered, nor is it appropriate to attribute such things to Shaykh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jaylani.” (Tabaqat al-Hanabilah, 2:194) [21:30, 4/27/2018] +91 73108 57041: Allamah Zayn al-Din ibn al-Wardi al-Shafi’i (d. 749H / may Allah have mercy on him) said, “Verily, there are many incorrect things and great exaggerations in this book [Bahjat al-Asrar] concerning the status of ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jaylani that is only appropriate for divinity (rububiyyah).” (Kashf al-Zunun, 1:25) Shaykh Sayyid Muhammad Abu ‘l-Huda ibn Wadi al-Sayadi al-Rifa’i[11] (d. 1328H / may Allah have mercy on him) writes regarding Bahjat al-Asrar, “There are many things written in the above mentioned book, Al-Bahjat, attributing which to Shaykh [‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jaylani] al-Gawth [al-A’zam], may he enjoy the pleasure of Allah, is incorrect. Many stories and untrue things were spread on his behalf. And numerous astonishing sayings were transmitted from a group of elders. Some defiant and bold people – and Allah’s refuge is sought – even fabricated many false traditions and attributed them to the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace).” (Tariqah Rifa’iyyah, p.16) He further writes, “As for the stories, words, and fabricated traditions written in the book named Bahjat al-Asrar by [Abu ‘l-Hasan ‘Ali] Al-Shattanawfi (d. 713H) regarding the merits of Shaykh ‘Abd al-Qadir, may Allah sanctify his pure secret, the elders have raised objections to these [stories], some of whom have accused Al-Shattanawfi of lying and opportunism. Amongst them is Hafiz Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali, may Allah bless his soul, as is mentioned in Tabaqat al-Hanabilah under the biography of Qutb al-Jili, may Allah benefit us with his assistance and knowledge, while some others said that he spread many stories, and they seem to have attributed to him stupidity and accepting [both] that which is accurate and that which is not.” (Tariqah Rifa’iyyah, p.59) Jazkallah if someone can help me with awnsers i need to refute him on this inshallah. also he misquoted something from Shiekh abdul qadir Jilanis book This is for uh Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jailani writes: يا من يشكو إلى الخلق مصائبه إيش ينفعك شكواك إلى الخلق لا ينفعونك ولا يضرونك ، وإذا اعتمدت عليهم وأشركت في باب الحق يبعدونك وفي سخطه يوقعونك وعنه يحجبونك أنت يا جاهل تدعي العلم من جملة جهلك بشكواك إلى الخلق O you who complain your hardship his calamities to the creatures like him .. They never give you benefit nor take a harm from you. And if you repent on them and you set them as partners in regards to the matter of Allah. They will distant you from Allah. They will be throwing you, O you who ignorant claiming to be having knowledge. Seeking salvation from difficulties by addressing your complain to those creatures like you?.[Fath al-Rabbani page 117-118] Scan page 117 http://images.orkut.com/orkut/photos/RAAAAL6N_EG4TSviVRH2jlCw82uSkZRP1A7Z-vf-obg1Loq_5BHEw8kLrVoc3kcu8k2bRsrtiMyLCuV485rG8YBtiAoQlgrPi_6EoCe9ahNg_DJ3AJtU9VBwui-Uq4qRBaumaOMtcxFfxf8iEA.jpg Scan page 118 http://images.orkut.com/orkut/photos/RAAAAL6N_EG4TSviVRH2jlCw82vRako42f3VTuhCqNOPbm05cr0YZLhfVLLpDwLjC1p6LA_10JYxak6G6c70qlH65BeCRVfy4a37UIemFFX94u15AJtU9VDo4Y-igU-8IefYe4GVfYr1jEybTw.jpg He also said ويلك! Woe to you, Aren't you ashamed to seek your need and help from someone other than Allah, While HE is closer to you than all others.[Fath al-Rabbani page 159] He also said Do not call anyone beside Allah as Allah said And the Masjids are for Allah, so invoke not anyone along with Allah[Fath al-Rabbani page 184] Scan: http://images.orkut.com/orkut/photos/RAAAAL6N_EG4TSviVRH2jlCw82vTmUpww-2Qj31Q-hyiFpxv-CqOAypGRiD2Qs5b1--mcAqMzcvh_z4k4KHBs6b0lk2Vl7x9fCxZ1oLhGe_FeW8rAJtU9VA1XGmD30-5KbPjxZQHI1vvvKqEiw.jpg Now a days brailwis ask Prophet peace be upon him and Shaykh Jilani in Masajid naudhubillah He said "Follow and obey and do not innovate. Agree with the religion and do not differ, obey and do not disobey, have sincerity and do not do Shirk. Accept Allaah as one and do not turn away from him. Ask Allaah and do not ask others. Ask him for help and do not ask anyone else for help. Have reliance and trust in him and do not have reliance in anyone else." (al-Fath ur-Rabbaanee (pg.191,192 الفتح الرباني للجيلاني المجلس السابع والأربعون ). Scan1 Scan2 he also said لاتسئل الخلق شئياً فانهم عجزة فقراء لايملكون لانفسهم ولالغيرهم ضراً ولا نفعا "Do not ask the creation for anything, for they are powerless and in need. They do not possess for themselves and nor for anyone apart from them any harm or benefit."[Fath al-Rabbani, majlis # 50 p.209] Scan Now even after these clear statements, if someone says "no no, he told his followers to ask from him and Prophet peace be upon him", okay, even for the SAKE OF ARGUMENT that he did say these things to his followers, then the answer is that he repented from all those things because when he was sick and about to die. adviced his son by saying. Don't fear anyone and don't hope anyone, and address all your needs to Allah alone, seek your need from him.. and do not depend on anyone other than Allah atTawheed, atTawheed, atTawheed.[Fath al-Rabbani page 373] (salafi sent this to me Which obiviously i will check with our knowledgeable brothers ). 2018 -------------------------- Seeking help from Allah only: Abu Huraira (radiallah ta'ala anhu) visiting Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi was'sallam) and telling him he can't remember Ahadith and Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi was'sallam) granting him capacity to remember ... what about when Prophet asked his companion, ask me what you want, and companion said O Prophet I want your nearness in hereafter, ... these companions asked the Prophet and the Prophet asked one of them to ask him what he wants ... and the companion told him ... Anyone with sense would realize if what Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (rahimullah) is saying is the Islam and and there is nothing else then what about action of companions and his Prophet? There is nothing in this post that is against creed of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah. You have to understand that there are degrees of belief in Tawheed and practice on Tawheed. There were people who only saught help from Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) and did not even seek jaiz/permissible help from creation, others even refused recitation of Quran or cures. Everyone had their own level of belief and then practice of Tawheed. Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (rahimullah) is even prohibiting permissible help ... give me food I am hungry ... i am thirsty give me water ... i am injured help me get up ... help me i am drawning ... he is even prohibiting this kind of help. Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani rahimullah only stated what he practiced and thats what he encouraged.
