  1. A deobandi/ wahabi told me about this Ayat from Surah Touba and I am really confused. Can some one please explain it? 9:80 Ask forgiveness for them (O Muhammad), or ask not forgiveness for them; though thou ask forgiveness for them seventy times Allah will not forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, and Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. This is from Surah Touba, ayat 80. Can someone please explain it in reference to Aqaid-e-Ahle Sunnat. I heard Ovais Bhai say "Jis ki Huzur (ﺼﻟﻰﷲﻋﻟﻴﻪ ﻮﺴﻟﻣ) shafa'at karein gay to zahiri baat hai wo jannat main kaey ga" And there is also a verse from a naat: "Un ko mukhtar banaya hai meray Moula nay Khuld main bus wohi jasakta hai Jisko Hasnain kay Baba ki ijazat hogi"
  2. Where can I find Surahs by him? Has he recited the whole Quran Sharif? Brothers, also listen to this Qari: Ibraheem Al-Jibreen. He is awesomeeeee! http://quranicaudio.com/quran/28
  3. You could get a digital tasbih counter. I came across an image of it when google-ing random stuff. It looked pretty cool.
  4. Sayyadi Hassan Raza Khan (rahmat Allah alaihi) is saying: meray jurm teri Rahmaton say kam hain. Is say ziyada na mujhay hisaab aata hai na shumar aata hai. So according to my interpretation he is saying that although my sins are so much that I can not even count them, they are definitely less than Your mercy. This is all I know and other than this, I can not either calculate anything or count anything. I'm not very good at explaining or understanding naats but I hope that made sense. If I am wrong please correct me. Allaho aalim bissawab.
  5. I was trying to find a recitation of the Quran Paak in a nice voice to download and listen to. After listening to a few Qaris, I decided I like Mishary Rashid's voice the most. You can find the whole Quran Shareef in his voice at: http://www.a2youth.com/audio/quran/mishary.alefasi.php Please listen to a few surahs and let me know what you think. And if you listen to the Quran Majid a lot, please let me know which Qaris you like.
  6. waisay to saarey shair bohat achay hain is naat kay magar my favourite one is: Teri Rahmaton say kam hain, meray jurm is say zaaid Na Mujhay Hisaab aaey; na mujhay shumar aaey I also love the first shair: Dam-e-Iztirab mujh ko jo khiyal-e-Yaar Aaey Meray dil ko chain aaey to Usay Qaraar Aaey
  7. This is one of my favourite naats and I wanted to share it with my brothers and sisters. You can listen to it in Ovais Raza's voice here: I am attaching the full lyrics of the naats. You can read more naats by Hazrat Hassan Raza Khan at: http://www.razanw.org/data/10-sunni_books/...if/zauq_e_naat/ Please take a look at that link and share your favourite naat with everyone on this thread.

    Urdu Naat translation request

Assalam alaikum dear brothers and sisters; Some time ago, I came across a naat by the brother of A'la Hazrat: Hazrat Hassan Raza Khan. I like this naat very much but there are some words and sentences that I do not understand so I was wondering if someone could translate it into English or simpler Urdu? The name of the naat is "Aasman gar terey talwon ka nazara karta" and you can listen to it on http://www.nafseislam.net/en/MediaList.php...2&CatType=1 (there are 2 naats by this name on the website, please listen to the second one) I will type out the part of the naat which I do not understand so much. It is from the last 8 minutes. I would be very grateful if someone can translate the bolded part of this naat into English.
