Women In Her Childhood Women In Her Childhood A girl is very dear to her parents. Before her attaining the age of puberty, she is free from any religious obligation. She is supposed to enjoy her life at her father's house with the single motto; eat, drink and be merry. She enjoys the love and affection of her parents, her sisters, brothers and other relatives. When she starts speaking, the parents should teach her the basics of the religion and faith. The childhood is an age of learning. A child attains considerable amount of knowledge till the age of five that she would never get throughout her life. This is the period when the first schooling of the child starts with her first teacher, The mother. When the girl is five-year-old, she should be taught lessons of personal hygiene. She should also be given training in human behaviour with special emphasis on adopting good things and discarding bad habits. This is also the time to start her education. The education should start with the learning of the Holy Quraan. She should memorize at least the last few Suras of the 30th Part of the Holy Quraan especially Sura Fateha, Sura An-Naas, Sura Al-Falaq, Sura Ikhlaas, Sura Al-Kafiroon. She should know the Islamic way of purification, Wudu (ablution) and Ghusl (bath). At the age of seven the girl should be taught the fundamentals of Islam such as Salaah. This is the age when the girl should cultivate the habit of Pardah. She should also be taught washing of utensils, minor stitching jobs and other domestic chores of common nature. She should be suitably admonished for her idling, laziness, carelessness and mischief. She should not be allowed to mingle with the girls and women of low character. She should be kept away from evils of reading romantic literature, seeing movies and listening to music, etc. These evils adversely affect the morale of the child and encourage her to adopt bigger evils.

تعارف سیدہ خدیجہ اہل مکہ کے سب سے زیادہ متموّل اور مالدار تاجروں میں سرفہرست حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہا کا نام لیا جاتا ہے۔ آپ کا سلسلہ نسب یہ ہے۔۔۔ خدیجہ بنت ُخویلد بن اسد بن عبدالعزٰی بن قصی۔ سیدہ خدیجہ ایک کامیاب اور متمول تاجرہ ہونے کے ساتھ ساتھ مکارم اخلاق کا پیکر جمیل تھیں۔ عفت و پاک دامنی کے باعث ُاس عہد جاہلیت میں بھی ۔۔۔طاہرۃ۔۔۔ کے لقب سے ملقب تھیں۔ رحم دلی، غریب پروری اور سخاوت آپکی امتیازی خصوصیات تھیں۔ جب اہل مکہ کا تجارتی قافلہ بیرون ملک جاتا تو آپ کے تجارتی سامان سے لدے ہوئے اونٹ بھی اس کے ہمراہ ہوتے اور جتنا بھی سامان تجارت تمام اہل قافلہ کا ہوتا، اتنا ہی سامان سیدہ خدیجہ کا ہوتا تھا۔ مؤمنین کی پہلی ماں سیدہ خدیجہ کے حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام سے خاص کاروباری تعلقات قائم تھے۔ سرور دوعالم علیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی عفت و دیانت، سیرت کی پختگی، کردار کی بلندی، حسن سلوک، معاملہ فہمی، کاروباری مہارت اور ذاتی خصال حمیدہ کا ذکر سن کر سیدہ خدیجہ نے ادب و احترام کے ساتھ حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام سے نکاح کی خواہش کا اظہار کیا تو حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام نے اسے قبول کرلیا۔ ہادئ انس و جاں علیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی یہ پہلی شادی مبارک تھی جو قیامت تک ُامت کے لئے َان گنت خیرات و برکات کا سرچشمہ بنی۔ اس وقت حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی عمر مبارک پچیس جبکہ ام المؤمنین سیدہ خدیجہ کی چالیس برس تھی۔ قبیلہ قریش کی اس معزز، دانشمند اور دور اندیش خاتون کو عبد المطلب کے جواں بخت پوتے علیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کے فضائل و شمائل نے ایسا گرویدہ کردیا تھا کہ انہوں نے اپنا دل، جان اور مال و متاع سب کچھ ان کے قدموں پر نثار کردیا تھا، اور اس سودے پر وہ صرف خوش نہیں بلکہ نازاں تھیں کہ پیکر جمال و کمال علیہ الصلوۃ والسلام نے انہیں اپنی چاکری میں قبول فرمایا ہے۔ شہزادے اور شہزادیاں یہ عقد بڑا با برکت ثابت ہوا اور سیدہ خدیجہ کے بطن اطہر سے حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ السلام کے بیٹے قاسم جن کی وجہ سے حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی کنیت ابو القاسم ہوئی، اور عبداللہ پیدا ہوئے۔ دونوں شہزادے بچپن میں ہی انتقال فرماگئے۔ اور حضور علیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی چاروں شہزادیاں رقیہ، زینب، ام کلثوم اور سیدہ النسآء فاطمۃ الزہرا کی ولادت باسعادت بھی سیدہ خدیجہ کے مبارک شکم سے ہوئی۔ اوّلین مؤمن شخصیت تمام علماء کا اس بات پر اتفاق ہے کہ اللہ کی ساری مخلوق میں سب سے پہلے ام المؤمنین سیدہ خدیجہ اسلام لائیں۔۔۔ چنانچہ علامہ ابن ہشام اپنی سیرت کی کتاب میں رقمطراز ہیں۔۔۔ کہ۔۔۔۔ نبی کریم علیہ الصلوۃ و التسلیم پر حضرت خدیجہ بنت خویلد ایمان لے آئیں، حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی تصدیق کی اور رسالت کی ذمہ داریوں کی انجام دہی میں حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی ڈھارس بندھائی۔ آپ حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے سب سے پہلے اللہ اور اسکے رسول پر ایمان لے آئیں۔ اللہ تعالٰی نے ان کے ذریعے اپنے محبوب نبی علیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کے بوجھ کو ہلکا فرمایا کہ جب مخالفین حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کے ساتھ تلخ کلامی کرتے یا جھٹلاتے تو حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کو بہت ُدکھ ہوتا لیکن حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام جب گھر تشریف لاتے تو ام المؤمنین ایسی گفتگو کرتیں کہ غم و اندوہ کے بادل چھٹ جاتے۔ وہ حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کو ثابت قدمی پر ابھارتیں۔ اس غم کو ہلکا کرتیں۔ حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی تصدیق کرتیں۔ اس طرح لوگوں کی مخالفتوں کے باعث دل انور کو جو ملال اور رنج پہنچتا، اس کا ِازالہ کردیتیں۔۔۔ اللہ تعالٰی کی آپ پر رحمتیں ہوں۔۔ السیرۃ النبویہ، ابن ہشام، ج1، ص259۔۔۔ جنت میں موتیوں کا محل علامہ احمد بن زینی دحلان فرماتے ہیں۔۔۔ ایمان لانے والوں میں سب سے سبقت لے جانے اور ہر مرحلے پر حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی دل جوئی اور حوصلہ افزائی کرتے رہنے کا صلہ بارگاہ الٰہی سے ام المؤمنین خدیجۃ الکبرٰی کو یہ مِلا کہ اللہ نے حضرت جبریل کو حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کے پاس بھیجا کہ جب حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام غار حرا میں تشریف فرما تھے۔ انہوں نے آکر عرض کی۔۔۔ یارسول اللہ علیہ الصلوۃ والسلام۔۔۔ اپنے رب کی طرف سے اور میری طرف سے حضرت خدیجہ کو سلام پہنچائیے، اورانہیں خوشخبری دیجئے کہ اللہ تعالٰی نے ان کے لئے جنت میں موتیوں کا بنا ہوا ایک محل مضصوص کیا ہے، جس میں کوئی شور نہیں ہوگا اور نہ ہی کوئی پریشانی۔۔۔ بعد از آں اس پر حضرت سیدہ خدیجہ نے جواب دیا۔۔۔ اللہ ہی سلام ہے، ساری سلامتیاں اسی سے ہیں۔۔۔ اور جبریل پر سلام ہو۔۔۔ اور یارسول اللہ علیہ الصلوۃ والسلام آپ پر سلام ہو، نیز اللہ کی رحمتیں اور اسکی برکتیں ہوں۔۔۔ السیرۃ النبویہ، احمد بن زینی دحلان، ج1، ص175۔۔۔ دیگر ازواج مطہرہ پر فضیلت حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام نے حضرت سیدہ خدیجہ کی جو توصیف و مدح فرمائی ہے، اس سے ان کی افضلیت کی مزید تائید ہوتی ہے۔۔۔ حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام فرماتے ہیں۔۔۔ اللہ تعالٰی نے اس سے بہتر اس کے بدلے مجھے کوئی زوجہ نہیں دی، وہ مجھ پر اس وقت ایمان لائی جب لوگوں نے مجھے جھٹلایا۔۔۔ اس نے اس وقت اپنے مال سے میری دل جوئی کی جب لوگوں نے مجھے محروم کیا۔۔۔ اللہ تعالٰی نے مجھے اس سے اولاد عطا فرمائی جبکہ دوسری ازواج سے اولاد پیدا نہ ہوئی۔۔۔ محمد رسول اللہ از محمد الصادق، ج1، ص523۔۔۔ نوٹ۔۔۔ مذکورہ بالا حدیث مبارکہ ام المؤمنین حضرت رقیہ قبطیہ سے نکاح سے قبل کی ہے، کہ ان سے حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کے ایک اور شہزادے حضرت ابراہیم پیدا ہوئے۔۔۔ کہ جن کو حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام نے اپنے پیارے نواسے سیدنا امام حسین پہ قربان کردیا تھا۔۔ اس طرح۔۔۔ کہ اللہ کی طرف سے دونوں شہزادوں میں سے ایک کی زندگی کو اختیار کرنے کا حکم حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کو دیا گیا تو حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام نے امام حسین کو ُچنا، اور حضرت ابراہیم کا انتقال ہوگیا۔۔۔ وفات حسرت آیات اعلان نبوت کے دسویں سال، سفر ہجرت سے تین سال پہلے حضرت ابو طالب کی وفات کو ابھی صرف پینتیس دن ہی گزرے تھے کہ 10رمضان المبارک کو حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کی وفا شعار اور غمگسار رفیقہ حیات ام المؤمنین سیدہ خدیجہ نے پیک اجل کو لبیک کہی۔ ایسی وفا شعار اور خدمت گزار، زیرک اور دانا، عالی ظرف اور بلند نگاہ رفیقہ حیات کا اس وقت داغ مفارقت دے جانا، کہ جب دعوت حق بڑے کٹھن مرحلوں سے گزر رہی تھی، حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام کے لئے کتنا تکلیف دہ اور باعث رنج و غم ہوا ہوگا، اس کا با آسانی اندازہ لگایا جا سکتا ہے۔ کیونکہ یہ دونوں روح فرسا حادثے ایک ہی سال میں بڑے قلیل مدت میں ہوئے تھے، اس لئے حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام نے اس سال کو ۔۔۔عامُ الحزن۔۔۔ یعنی غم و اندوہ کے سال سے موسوم کیا۔ حضرت سیدہ خدیجہ نے 65سال کی عمر میں وفات پائی۔ حجون کے قبرستان میں اپ کو دفن کیا گیا۔ جب مرقد مبارک تیار ہو گئی تو حضورعلیہ الصلوۃ والسلام خود اس میں تشریف لے گئے، اور پھر اس مرقد میں انہیں اللہ کے سپرد کردیا گیا۔ انساب الاشراف، ج1، ص406۔۔۔ شان ِسخاوت اغیار بھی سیدہ خدیجہ کی صفات جلیلہ کے صدق دل سے معترف ہیں۔ چنانچہ کونستانس جورجیو لکھتا ہے کہ۔۔۔ جس روز آپ رضی اللہ عنہا نے وفات پائی تو ان کے پاس کھجور کی گٹھلی میں سیاہ نشان کے برابر بھی مال و دولت نام کی کوئی چیز نہ تھی۔ مسلمانوں میں دو ہستیاں ایسی گزری ہیں۔۔۔ کہ جنہوں نے اپنی ساری دولت، دعوت اسلامیہ کی ترقی کے راہ میں خرچ کر ڈالی۔۔۔ وہ دو ہستیاں حضرت خدیجہ اور حضرت ابوبکر صدیق ہیں، کہ اسلام لانے سے پہلے یہ دونوں بڑے دولت مند تھے، اور انہوں نے وفات پائی تو ان کے پاس پھوٹی کوڑی بھی نہ تھی۔ نظرۃ جدیدۃ، ج1، ص116۔۔۔ _______________________________________ Duty towards Children In as much as obligation towards parents has been strictly enjoined upon children, Islam has also instituted duties towards children. The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) laid down some guiding factors with regard to the upbringing and maintenance of children, especially female children. The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) had raised the status and position of females in Society, and promised the Muslims success and high reward for upbringing their daughters with the necessary education and training to face marriage and lead a decent family life. The father has been instructed to provide for the maintenance of his infant children, whilst both parents have been instructed to provide education for their young children beginning first with the study of the Holy Quran. Of all the properties and which children inherit from their parents, the best is good manners. Parents have been instructed to spend for the well-being of their children. The Hadith states there is no better cause than to spend for the well-being of their children. If in the case of the father's death, the mother spends her time bringing up the minor children till they attain maturity, instead of taking a second husband, that mother has been assured a place in Paradise next to the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). There are Ahadith that state that parents should salute (make Salaams to) their children when entering the house; and parents should often express kindness and affection to their children by hugging and kissing them. The following are Ahadith from the various Kitaabs of Hadith that refer to duties of parents towards children: Muslim Shareef: Hazrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Whoever maintains two girls till they attain maturity, he and I will come on the Day of Resurrection like this, 'and he joined his fingers.'" Tirmizi Shareef: Hazrat Jaber bin Samorah (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "The teaching of good manners by a man to his son is better for him that to give a sa'a in charity." Sunnan Abu Dawud: Hazrat Auf bin Malik (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "I and the woman black of two cheeks shall be like these two fingers on the Day of Resurrection (Yazid bin Zuraiy pointed out the middle and fore-fingers), the woman who has been bereft of her husband (but) possessing beauty and respectability, and who confines herself to (upbringing) her orphan children till they grow major and die." Ibn-e-Majah Shareef: Suraqah bin Malik (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Shall I not teach you the best form of charity? - (maintaining) your daughter who has been returned to you, who has got no earning member except you." Bukhari Shareef and Muslim Shareef: Hazrat Ayesha (radi Allahu anha) reported that a desert Arab came to the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and said: "What! Do you kiss children? But, we don't kiss them?" Then the Messenger of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "I can't help you since Allah has taken kindness out of your heart." Bukhari Shareef and Muslim Shareef: Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) kissed his grandson Hasan bin Ali (radi Allahu anhu) in the presence of Aqra bin Habis (radi Allahu anhu), whereupon Aqra said: "I have ten children and I have never kissed any of them." The Messenger of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) looked towards him and said, "He who is not kind will not be shown kindness." Abu Dawud Shareef: Bara'a (radi Allahu anhu) narrated: "I came with Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) who was the first to reach Madina. Hazrat Ayesha (radi Allahu anha), his daughter, was lying in bed on account of fever. Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) came to her and said, 'How are you my beloved daughter?' and he kissed her."
