  2. It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) was the most generous amongst all the people and his generosity was most evident in the month of Ramadaan, at the time when he used to meet with Jibraeel alaihis salaam, and he would meet with Jibraeel (alaihis salaam) on every night of Ramadaan and recite the Quran. When the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) used to meet with Jibraeel (alaihis salaam), he used to be even more generous than excessive wind.” (Bukhari)

    A smile is a charity..

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu When love sparkles within a person it translates outwardly as a smile. That’s the only sign we have of what’s happening inside a person. It is true that a person can fake a smile, but anyone can detect a fake from a mile away. A genuine smile is a gift. And it is inexpensive. Scientists haven’t yet figured out how a smile comes about. It just happens from millions and millions of stimuli that hits the frontal lobe of a person’s brain. And when a smile forms on the face of a person it radiates positive energy outward and it melts the barriers of love. Our Madni Aaqa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, always had a radiant smile on his Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam blessed face and he taught us that greeting one’s brother with a cheerful smile is an act of charity. If we smile with each other, more often than not, it will go a far way at absolutely no financial cost to us. so keep smiling and rember me in duas

It is reported in Bukhari and Muslim that Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam said, "The reward for each deed done by the children of Adam is multiplied, and the reward given is between 10 and 700 times greater. Allah Ta'ala says, "Except for fasting. Because a person that fasts is giving up his desires and giving up food for Me. There are two joys for the person that fasts. The first is when he breaks his fast in the evening and the second is when he shall meet his Lord." The smell of the breath of one who is fasting is more liked by Allah Ta'ala than Musk (fragrance) and fasting is a restriction. When one of you is fasting, do not partake in idle chat and do not cause disturbance. If someone swears at you, tell that person that you are fasting." (Bukhari and Muslim)

    Virtues and Excellence of Ramadan

The Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam delivered a thought provoking sermon on the last day of Sha'baan in which he said : " Oh Believers ! Be alert ! An auspicious month is about to dawn upon you , whose greatness and sanctity is not easy to comprehend. There comes to you a magnificent month, a blessed month, a month wherein is a night (Laylat al-Qadr) which is better than thousand months. Almighty Allah has made it's Fast's compulsory upon you, and the standing in its nights (Tarraweeh) a means of obtaining countless blessing's. Whoever sincerely makes an effort to seek the nearness of Allah in it, is like a person who has offered seventy obligatory deeds in other months. It is a month of patience, and the rerward of patience is Paradise. It is a month to show compassion to others. In it sustenance is increased. In this month the doors of Paradise are opened and the doors of Hell are barred (shut). Fasting is a shield against the fire of Hell. Hence it is important for the one who is fasting to abstain from uttering anything shameful or doing anything based on ignorance. If anyone tries to enter into a quarrel with him or swears him he should twice say " I am fasting. " The Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam further said : "I swear on Him in whose Hands is my life ! The breath emanating from the mouth of the observer of fasts is more beloved to Allah than the fragrance of musk. The observer of fasts abstains from eating and drinking, and from all sensual pleasures for My (Allah's) sake. Fasting is for Me and I alone shall give its rewards. " The reward of every good deed is tenfold but the reward for fasting will be given by Allah alone. In short, this month is a treasure house of blessings and mercy. Therefore it is obligatory upon every Muslim to show this month the highest form of respect and at all times uphold its sanctity and dignity. Be firm and punctual in discharging one's obligation in respect of Namaaz, Fasting, Hajj, Zakaah and other commandments of Allah Almighty. Spend maximum time in the recitation of the Qur'an al-kareem, in Dhikr-Allah, in reciting Durood Shareef and offering sincere prayers for the betterment of one's Muslim brother's and for forgiveness of one's sins.
