SubhaanakAllah humma wa bi hamdika La ilaaha illah anta astaghfiruka wa’atooboo ilaik. Alhamdulillah Azzawajal. The Sunnah of the Prophet Sallalahu alaihi wasallam is taught and learnt in the Madani environment of Dawat-e-Islami. An International non-policatal, propogational movement of Qur'aan and Sunnah. Make it a habit to travel with Aashiqaan-e-Rasool Sallalahu alaihi wasallam on the Madani Qafilas of Dawat-e-Islami in order to learn the Sunnah of the Beloved Prophet Sallalahu alaihi wasallam, and whilst doing Fikr-e-Madina fill in your Madani In'aamaat card and hand it in to your area Zimmedaar within the first ten days of the new Islamic month. Insha'Allah Azzawajal, with the blessings of this we will start acting upon the Sunnah, have hatred for sins and will safeguard our Imaan. Insha'Allah azzawajal. Every Islamic Brother and Sister must make the intention that: "I must strive to rectify myself and to rectify all the people of the world! Insha'Allah Azzawajal" To rectify ourselves we will practice upon the Madani Inaa'maat and to rectify the people of the world, we will travel on Madani Qaafila. Insha'Allah azzawajal. pls rember me in dua and my family

When the angel Gabriel asked the Prophet ( Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) about Islam, he replied: “Islam is to bear witness that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is the Messenger of Allah, to establish prayer, to pay charity, to fast the month of Ramadan, and to perform pilgrimage to the House if you are able to make the journey.” [sunan al-Tirmidhî]

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem AsSalaatu WasSalaamu Alaika Ya RasoolAllah AsSalaatu WasSalaamu Alaika Ya HabeebAllah AsSalaatu WasSalaamu Alaika Ya NabiyAllah Wa’aala Aalika Wa’As’haabika Ya NoorAllah Whoever recites “JazAllahu Anna Muhammadin Sallalahu alaihi wasallam wa ma Huwa Ahlu”, seventy angels will write good deeds for him for one thousand days. {Tabaraani Kabeer, Volume 11, Page 165, Rak-mul-Hadith 11509} Salloo Alal Habeeb! (Sallalahu Ta’aala ala Muhammad Sallalahu alaihi wasallam) Insha’Allah Azzawajal, today we would learn about some actions that do not break fast. * If you eat, drink or have s.exual intercourse by mistake then the fast does not break. * While engaged in any of the above actions (by mistake) and you remember that you are fasting and you stop, then the fast will not break, but if you continue then the fast will break, even if you just swallowed the last morsel or drank the last sip after you remembered. Similarly, if you started eating (Sehri) before the break of dawn and whilst you were eating you saw that the morning had broken and you spat out the food in your mouth then the fast will not break and if you swallowed the food then the fast will break {Fatawa Alamgiri} * If an insect, smoke or dust goes down the throat by mistake then the fast does not break, however, if you purposely inhaled the dust or smoke, or purposely swallowed the insect then the fast will break provided that you remember that you are fasting. {Fatawa Alamgiri, Bahaar-e-Shariat} * If you apply oil or lotion or surma on the body or eyes then the fast will not break. Even if the taste of the surma is felt in the throat or if the saliva is coloured due to the surma then the fast will still not break {Radd ul Mohtar, Johra, Bahaar-e-Shariat}. * If whilst talking the lips got wet, or you cleared your throat and then swallowed the saliva, then the fast will not break but you should refrain from doing this {Fatawa Alamgiri, Durr e Mukhtaar, Radd ul Mohtaar, Bahaar-e-Shariat} * If your gums bled and the blood reached the throat but did not go down the throat, then the fast will not break {Durr e Mukhtaar, Fatahul Qadeer}. * If you chewed a linseed or something of equivalent size and it went down the throat with your saliva then the fast will not break, if however, you felt the taste of it then the fast will break {Fatahul Qadeer}. * If medicine is grounded or flour is sieved and you felt the taste in your throat then the fast will not break {Durr e Mukhtaar, Fatahul Qadeer}. * If water went inside the ears then the fast will not break {Durr e Mukhtaar, Fatahul Qadeer} * If you had a wet dream (nocturnal emission) then the fast will not break. * If you remained in a state where bathing is obligatory until the morning, in fact even if you remained like that all day then the fast will not break. However if remaining in this state causes you to miss Salaah in it’s correct time, it would be Haraam even when not fasting. Some Islamic brothers and Sisters have a habit of mocking this great Ibaadat of fasting by sending emails with pictures of food, or even when talking to each other – they joke by talking about food to create a desire for food in the next fasting person. Even with one’s spouses people joke and tempt each other in various ways. Ah! If only Islamic Brothers and Sisters knew the value of this Blessed Month, they would not even engage in joking of any sort. Hazrat Abu Mas'ood Ghaffaari RadiAllahu anh narrates that Pyaare Aqa Sallalahu alaihi wasallam said, if the people could have known what the month of Ramadhaan is, they would have wished the continuation of the month for the entire year. {Bahaar-e-Shariat} Hazrat Abu Huraira RadiAllahu Ta'aala Anh says that RasoolAllah Sallalahu alaihi wasallam said: "When Ramadhaan starts, the doors of Jannah and the skies are opened and the doors of Jahannam are closed and all the Shayateen are chained." {Bukhari, Muslim, Nisai} Dearest Islamic Brothers and Sisters! It is the job of Shaitaan to tempt us towards evil, while the Shayateen are locked up and chained during this month, we should not take up his role. Any action you do to show off that you are suffering (with fasting), for example to put on a wet cloth on your face or indicate your urgent desire to consume something etc then these are Makrooh because this is to have a negative outlook towards worship. {Fatawa Alamgiri, Radd-ul-Mohtaar, Bahaar-e-Shariat}. Whilst fasting, for a person to clean the nose or mouth with too much water and exaggeration is Makrooh. Exaggeration in washing the mouth means to fill the whole mouth with water. To gather saliva in the mouth and then to swallow even without fasting is not good, but it is Makrooh whilst fasting {Fatawa Alamgiri, Bahaar-e-Shariat}.

Assalato wassalamo alaika Ya Rasool Allah Wa ala alaika wa ashabika Ya Habeeb Allah My dear Islamic Brothers and sisters, insha Allah Azzawajal today’s halqa will be regarding the benefits of fasting. Fasting has numerous benefits of which a few will be mentioned The Prophet, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam, said: “Fasting is a protection for the servant from hell fire.” In another Hadeeth, agreed upon, the Prophet, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam, said: “Whoever fasts one day for the sake of Allah; Allah will keep his face away from hell-fire for seventy years”. My dear Brothers and sisters,, If such is the reward for fasting one day, what about fasting the whole month of Ramadhaan, or the voluntary fasts? It is a great benefit indeed. Fasting is a protection against the passions. The Prophet, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam, said: “He who can afford to marry should marry, because it will help him refrain from looking at other women, and save him from committing illegal sexual relations; and the who cannot afford to marry is advised to fast, as fasting is like a rein preventing him from illicit pleasure”. Many young people complain about passion and desire aroused by many factors, such as the desires of the ego, sexual desires etc. These desires are never ending. The young person is naturally disposed to have their desire aroused at the slightest cause especially if the religious impediment in the person is weak. To protect these people and us the above prophetic advice is needed. Meaning one should fast in order to control such desires, and fasting in the month of Ramdhaan helps us control our desires. Practical experience has confirmed the effectiveness of this prophetic medicine that constitutes a substitute to other medicine and a successful remedy to cure the passions of desire. Fasting is a means to gain Paradise. Al-Nisaa’ee reported that Abu Umaama (RadiAllaho Ta’ala An), said: “O Messenger of Allah (Azzawajal wa Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam), command me to a deed that will benefit me in front of Allah”. The Prophet, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam, said: “Observe the fast as it has no equal deed”. My dear brother and sisters, The Prophet, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam, has therefore shown that no deed gets the servant closer to Allah and takes him away from punishment like fasting. Our Beloved Master, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam, has even informed us that there is a gate in Paradise reserved for those who observe fast, as is confirmed in the Hadeeth: "There is a gate in paradise called Al-Rayan, and those who observe fast will enter through it on the day of resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said: 'Where are those who used to observe fast?' After their entry, the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it.” Dear brothers and sisters, We notice that the name of the gate (Al-Rayan means in Arabic 'whose thirst is quenched') corresponds to the characteristic of the person observing fast who suffers thirst as the effect of fasting. My dear brothers and sisters I have touched upon just a few minor benefits of fasting. Only the fasting person knows how the fast benefits them internally, externally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. May Allah Azzawajal grant us all the ability to keep the fast of Ramadhaan wholeheartedly and may He grant us the ability to reap the rewards of this blessed month, do not let even one second go to waste my and brothers sisters, as we never know that second may be our last. Assalato wassalamo alaika Ya Nabi Allah Wa ala alika wa ashabika Ya Noor Allah

Hazrat Ibn E Abbas radiallaho ta'ala anhuma narrates that the Master of Madinah sallalaho alaihe wasallam said, "When the people that fast get out of their graves on the day of judgement, the sweet smell of musk (fragrance) will be coming out of their mouths. A table spread from paradise will be placed before them on which they will eat and they will all be under the shade of the Throne of Allah Ta'ala (Arsh)." (Gunyat ut Taalibeen)

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Ramadan is derived from the Arabic root word ramida or ar-ramad denoting intense scorching heat and dryness, especially the ground. From the same root there is ramdaa, sunbaked sand, and the famous proverb: "Kal Mustajeer minar Ramadaa binnar" - to jump out of the frying pan into the fire. And in a hadith the Messenger of Allah ( Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) said: "The prayer of repenters is due when the young camel can feel the sun's heat early in the morning." (Muslim) Thus, the word Ramadan is so called to indicate the heating sensation in the stomach as a result of thirst). Others said it is so called because Ramadan scorches out the sins with good deeds, as the sun burns the ground. Some said it is so called because the hearts and souls are more readily receptive to the admonition and remembrance of Allah during Ramadan, as the sand and stones are receptive to the sun's heat. The framers of this beautiful language may have been inspired by Allah ( Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) in naming this month Ramadan. Otherwise, the relation between the heat and its properties is miraculously similar to that of Ramadan. While the heat represents the matter that helps shape, form, and mold virtually every matter - from metal and plastics, to plants and living cells - Ramadan undoubtedly helps a serious believer remold, reshape, reform, and renew his physical and spiritual disposition and behavior.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiallaho ta'ala anhu narrates, Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam prayed the khutbah and then said, "I swear by Him in whose control is my life." He said this three times and then lowered his blessed head, so the companions also lowered their heads and started crying. We did not know why Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam had taken an oath. Then Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam raised his blessed head, there was rays of happiness on his blessed face and he said, "The person that prays all five Namaz, fasts in Ramadhan, and pays the Zakat on his wealth, and saves himself from large sins (Kabeera Gunah), the doors of paradise are opened for him and he is told to enter paradise with peace." (Nisa'ee Shareef)
