21 Day Ramdan Shareef The Day of Hazrat Ali radiAllahu anho
Gham-e-Madinah replied to Gham-e-Madinah's topic in اسلامی تہوار
Somebody once came and asked hazrat Ali (RadiAllau Ta'al anhu) to name him every living creature that gives birth to creatures and all the creatures that lay eggs... Hazrat Ali (RadiAllahu ta'ala anhu) went silent for a short while.....then they replied: EVERY CREATURE THAT HAS IT'S EARS SHOWING GIVES BIRTH TO ACTUAL CREATYREA AND EVERY LIVING THING THAT HAS IT'S EARS HIDDEN LAYS EGGS! SubhanAllah azzawajal....and thats a fact as well....so when you look around the whole world you'll see that humans, monkeys, lions, cats dogs etc...and everything that has it's ears showing gives birth to creatures... AND everything that has it's ears hidden example snakes, fish, chickens etc....thay all ley eggs! SUBHANALLAH azzawajal....The Holy Prophet (Salalahu alaihi wasalam said: "I am the city of knowlegde and Ali (RadiAllahu Ta'ala anhu) is the gate" SubhanAllahi azzawajal...if this is how much knowlegde the gate of the city has then imagine the amount of Knowlegde the actual city contains!!! Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam 21 Day Ramdan Shareef The Day of Hazrat Ali radiAllahu anho Please Recite the Darood Shareef Make Fateh at home Give Isale Sawab jazak ALLAH khair please request to u all kindly Do Contribute in this thread... may ALLAH azawajal reward u ameen inshaALLAH i will read 5 yaseen Shareef.. please do contribute every one We should all learn from the blessed Sahaba like Hazrat Ali Al Murtuza radiAllahu anho A great lesson that can be taken learnt from The Father of the Beloved Hassan and Hussain radiAllahu anho Hazrath Ali radiAllahu anho, the "Gate of Knowledge and Lion of Allah." knocked an enemy soldier, to the ground during the Battle of the Trench. He raised his sword to kill the unbeliever who spat on the blessed face of Hazrath Ali radiAllahu anho at that moment. Hazrath Ali radiAllahu anho at once stood still and refrained from killing his enemy. Hardly able to believe his own eyes, the unbeliever asked: "Why have you spared me?" He replied, " that just a few moments ago, I was on the point of slaying you, but when you spat in my face, my selfish anger was aroused against you. If I had killed you, I would have killed you not for God's sake but for my own selfish reason. When you spat in my face, anger threatened to overwhelm me, so instead of striking you with the sword for my own sake I struck my passion for the sake of Allah, Exalted is He. There you have the reason for your escape." The unbeliever realized the worth and value of being Muslim and he felt the light of Islam descending into his heart. A tear streamed down from his eyes when he realized that in the space of a few seconds he was being saved from dying as an unbeliever - saved from being an unbeliever at all - and was becoming a Muslim. The behavior of Hazrath Ali radiAllahu anho changed the condition of his heart. -

Urs of Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa Radi Allahu anha 17 Ramdan
Gham-e-Madinah replied to Gham-e-Madinah's topic in اسلامی تہوار
It is in Moatta Imam Malik that once Hadrat Aisha (Radi Allahu anha) was with fast and there was nothing at home to eat besides a loaf of bread. Meanwhile, a beggar woman called out for alms. She directed her maid to give the beggar woman the loaf. The maid submitted: With which thing will you finish up with your fast? The mother of the believers replied: First give it to her In the evening, some one sent some mutton as a gift. Then Sayyidah said to her maid, Look! Allah has sent something than a loaf of bread. Mutual Love Hadrat Aisha (Radi Allahu anha) loved the Prophet (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam) up to such a level that she always felt like a fish out of water in the absence of the Beloved Prophet (Sallall Allahu taala Alaihi Wasallam). Following incidence from her life, obviously, throws light on this aspect: In a journey Sayyidah Aisha and Hadrat Hafsah (Radi Allahu anha) accompanied the Blessed Prophet (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam), on the way Sayyidah Hafsah and Sayyidah Aisha exchanged their camels. At night, the Beloved prophet (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi wasallam) went towards Sayyidah Aishas camel which Sayyidah Hafsah was riding then, Sayyidah Aisha could not bear the separation. When they reached the terminal, Hadrat Aisha got down from the camel and putting her foot on the grass she said: O my Lord! Send any scorpion or serpent to bite me up. And he is thy Prophet. I cannot say anything about him. (Muslim) Another incidence testifies to this fact that all the reverend wives of the Beloved Prophet (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam) cherished him to an extreme sense. Even all temptations, fascinations, charms, allurements of this material world could not debar their tender feelings for the Prophet Muhammad (Sallall Allahu taala Alaihi Wasallam) Departure from this world, of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallall Allahu taala Alaihi Wasallam) In the last 8 days of his life he stayed with Hadrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha). This distinguished lady who also enjoyed the Status, that when the Beloved Prophet (Sallall Allahu taala Alaihi Wasallam), abandoned this world his Sacred Head was in her lap when he passed away. The Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (Sallall Allahu taala Alaihi Wasallam) was buried in the house of Sayyidah Aisha Siddique (Radi Allahu anha). She herself narrates: I would enter my house where the Messenger (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam) of Allah was buried without observing my veil thinking that here are my Husband and father, but when Hadrat Umar (Radi Allahu anhu) was buried beside them, by Allah, then, to my shame from Umar, I would enter covering my head properly. (Mishkat) My dear Sisters you must ponder upon this episode in the life of Sayyidah Aisha (Radi Allahu anha). She was 18 years old when the Beloved Prophet (Sallall Allahu taala Alaihi Wasallam) departed this world. Hadrat Aisha (Radi Allahu anha) lived for 48 years after his departure. She (Radi Allahu anha) reported 2210 sayings of the Prophet (Sallall Allahu taala Alaihi Wasallam). The company of the Prophet (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam) and her wisdom gave her an ocean of knowledge. Whenever the companions had any confusion, she solved it. Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqah (Radi Allahu anha0, was very generous, hospitable and kind to the poor. She gave all her wealth to the poor in the name of Almighty Allah Azzawajal. Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqah (Radi Allahu anha), was fond of worshipping. She recited the Noble Quraan and offered Nawafil in abundance, she never left the prayers Tahajud and Chaast, and she kept all her fast. She had a tent near mount Hiraa and Subair, from here she managed her school, and the believers came to her and learned religious doctrines. Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqah (Radi Allahu anha), passed away on the 17th of Ramadan -ul- Mubarak in 58 Ah.Hadrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu anhu) led her Janaazah Prayer. (Funeral) Many people attended her Janaazah, and the Beloved of Almighty Allah was buried in Jannat-ul-Baqi (requested by her) where she is enjoying deep sleep in peace and tranquillity. It is said by Scholars that after Sayyidah Khadijah (Radi Allahu anha) Hadrat Aisha (Radi Allahu anha) held the second highest rank amongst women. This concludes the life of Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqah (Radi Allahu anha) A very prestigious and distinguished lady who from an very early age shone in character and Status. Her ocean of knowledge cannot be compared to any other woman past or present in this world. -

1Frightening animals It was the last Friday in Sha`baan 1414ah. During an Ijtima at night to propagate the Sunnah at Baab-ul-Madina (Korangi), a young man met me. He was extremely frightened and narrated the following incident, `A young daughter of a very good friend of mine suddenly died. When we had completed the burial and were returning, the father of the deceased realised that he had accidentally left a bag which contained important papers with his young daughter in her grave. As a matter of great need, we had to reopen the grave. When we opened the grave, what we saw made us scream with extreme fear because the same young girl who we had just covered in a new piece of cloth was now sitting up straight with her shroud torn. Her legs were tied with the hair on her head and small frightening animals which we did not recognise were stuck to her. We forgot what we had come for and without even retrieving the bag, we covered the grave and ran from their. When I returned home, I inquired about the sins of this young girl. Her relatives revealed that she possessed no such bad habits which had made her look bad; however, like the young girls of today, she also thought of herself as a fashionable person and never used to cover herself. Recently, there was a wedding in her family and like other females, she also cut her hair and joined other women without any covering at all.`

Veil even in front of a blind companion Those females who continue to watch other males through their windows, their front doors and even in streets and shopping centres should read the following thought provoking incident. Sayyidatuna Ummul Mo`mineen Umme Salma narrates that she was once with Sayyidatuna Ummul Mo`mineen Maymoona in the company of the Holy Prophet when a blind companion Hazrat`e Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Umme Maktoom presented himself in the court of the Holy Prophet . Sayyidatuna Ummul Mo`mineen Umme Salma narrates that the Holy Prophet then instructed them to cover themselves. I then asked `Oh Messenger of Allah is he not blind? Surely he cannot see us.` The Holy Prophet replied, `Are the two of you also blind? Can the two of you not see him?` (Jaami` ut-Tirmizi, V4, P356, Hadith 2787, Dar-ul-Fikr Beirut) My son has passed away but my modesty is still alive! No matter what happens, a modest Islamic female never reveals herself or goes around without a proper covering. It is stated that Sayyidatuna Umme Khalaad appeared in the court of the Holy Prophet with herself covered to enquire about her son who had been martyred. Someone said to her, `You have come covered to enquire about your son.` She replied, `So what if my son has gone, my modesty has not gone.` (Sunan Abi Dawood, V3, P9, Hadith 2488, dar ahya`ut turaasul arabi Beirut) Being uncovered is not a small problem This incident should serve as a warning to those females who continue to search for excuses to remain uncovered. Some say what can I do, I am a widow. Some say, what can I do, I have to work to feed my children, so I have to work in a factory with other males (without covering) even though it may have been possible to earn a living while working from home. I ask you, were previous females in history who used to properly cover themselves also not widows? Did they also not have difficulties? Did a mountain of pain and trial also not fall upon the female prisoners of Karbala? Did these blessed females remove their veils even though such calamity overtook them? Never! Therefore, refrain from silly excuses and think about your weak physical body and the immense punishment of the grave. There is no doubt that, that action of yours can never be called minor (meaning walking around without covering) if it leads to punishment.

Audacity & Valour. Hadrat Aisha (Radi Allahu anha) was equally renowned for her generosity. Hadrat Urwa bin Zubair reports that once she got seventy thousand dirhams. She gave the entire amount in charity right in front of him and left nothing with her. Hadrat Abdullah bin Zubair, her nephew, sent one-lakh dirhams to her, which she gave out in the way of Allah (Subhanah Wa Taala) within a day. She was observing fast that day. At night, the housemaid served her leaf and submitted that it would have been better if you had brought some meat out of that amount to finish up with the fast. At this Sayyidah Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) said: You might have reminded me about it then. (Mustadrak-e-Hakim, vol: 4) -

Another Hadith in the same context is as under: Aisha has such superiority over women as sareed (A kind of food) has over other foods. (Bukhari, Muslim) Another Hadith confirms her prestigious status. Amr Bin Aas said: I submitted O Allahs Messenger! Who amongst all the people is the dearest to you? He said (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam) said Aisha. I asked out of men? He sai; Her father. (Tirmidhi) Migration. Allah (Subhanah Wa Taala) has raised the status of those companions of the Beloved prophet (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam) who migrated from Mecca to Madina over those who were not blessed with this bounty. Allah Taala Says: And those who left their homes and hearths in the way of Allah being oppressed, we shall surly give them good place in the world. And undoubtedly, the reward of the hereafter is much greater: any how people would have known. (An-Nahl, 14:41 Kanzul Iman) When Hadrat Muhammad (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam) migrated from Mecca to Madina, Hadrat Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu anhu) leaving his family on the mercy of the enemies accompanied the Beloved Prophet (Sallall Allahu taala Alaihi Wasallam). When peace regained in Madina and dust also settled. Hadrat Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu anhu) sent Hadrat Abdullah to bring Umm-e-Rooman, Hadrat Asma and Hadrat Aisha (Radi Allahu anha) to Madina. Hence these people were also included on the list of the immigrants -

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH 1. Itikaaf makes it easy to perform salat with full devotion because the mutakif breaks all ties with the outside world and is in a state of tranquillity, where he is free from everything that diverts him from Allah’s remembrance. This leaves him to focus his mind solely towards Allah’s obedience and happiness. Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). (Surah 23) 2. More voluntary prayers will be performed by a mutakif because his aim is to worship his Lord and to build up a close tie with Him and the best way of achieving this is by performing salat. Abu Hurairah narrates that the Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, "The bondsman is closest to his Lord while he is in prostration, so increase your supplications." (Muslim) Ubaadah ibn Saamit narrates that he heard the Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam saying, "Whenever a bondsman prostrates before Allah, He has a good deed written down for him and a sin wiped off and raises him a rank higher, so prostrate as much as you can." (Ibn Maaja) 3. Another benefit of Itikaaf is that the mutakif can perform his prayer in the first row. It is very easy for him to derive the full benefit of offering prayer in this row. Abu Hurairah narrates that the Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, "Had the people known the reward of azaan and the first row, they would most certainly draw lots (to decide who should give the azaan and stand in the first row). (Bukhari) 4. The mutakif gains the reward of waiting for salat. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, "You will be regarded as performing salat while you are waiting for salat and the angels supplicate saying, ‘O Allah forgive him and have mercy on him as long as he does not leave his prayer place or break wind." (Bukhari) 5. One benefit of Itikaaf is that it makes a person accustomed to staying in the masjid for a long period and creates an attachment between him and the masajid. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, "From amongst the seven whom Allah will give shade to on the day when there will be no shade except His shade, will be that person whose heart was attached to the masjid." (Bukhari) 6. It becomes easy to perform the Tahajjud prayer. Normally, this is very difficult for a person because Satan tries hard to stop a person from offering this prayer and deprive him of its great reward. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam According to the Companion `Ubadah ibn al-Samit Radi Allahu anhu the beloved noble Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam used to say upon entering this month: Allahumma sallimnee li ramadana wa sallim ramadana wa sallimhu minnee mutaqabbilan. "O Allah, greet and save me for Ramadan; greet and save Ramadan; greet and save Ramadan on my behalf, and grant me its acceptance."
